T-Mobile Email Spam Cleaner program is designed to combat spam for the T-Mobile's Sidekick users. Since the emails we receive from Sidekick devices are part of Danger, Inc who have email servers and don't have any kind of  built-in spam filters. This means, if you get spam emails on your Sidekick, the only 2 solutions to get rid of spam is to delete them to trash, or call T-Mobile to get your email address changed to a new email address to thwart spam. That works at least for little while. Spam emails are constantly received on Sidekick, and so many,  that in time, you will decide to give up and get the email address changed. This is very inconvenient, because you will have to tell your family and friends to update your new email address every 6 months or a year. That can be embarrassing and a real inconvenience.

Why hasn't Danger installed spam filters on their email servers? Despite the fact that many Sidekick users complain about getting spam emails everyday, and Danger does nothing about it, and doesn't seem to care.

T-Mobile just released a new Sidekick 3 device on July 10th, 2006 and previous models Sidekick 2 back in 2004 and Sidekick 1 been around since December 2001. That's five years, and STILL no type of spam filtering for emails! I tried calling up T-Mobile customer support and asked them to see if I can get spam filtering for emails and they said they would not able to do that because "it is on Danger's side". So I asked them to direct or transfer my call to Danger and again, they said there is no support service or phone number where I can reach them about my problem. This is ridiculous. After scouring the Google pages related to this problem, I find that others have the same snafu situation I have. So I decided to introduce the T-Mobile Email Spam Cleaner program. This program is meant for temporary solution because I am hoping that Danger, Inc will change their mind and start installing spam filtering on their email servers and I will be gladly to remove this program from this website.
